Among the Spirits — Canvas Print

What do you see? I see a figure, and many spirits around her — and she is aware of them. She knows she's being watched. She is learning to navigate the spirit world. This drawing came the way my blue pigment drawings come: I rub the Moroccan blue pigment into the paper by hand, and first patterns develop — then figures and faces appear, and I clear away everything that doesn't belong there. This is my joy. I disappear when I create; I get into the flow and become one with my art, with spirit. Art is my meditation.
