State of Being

Her eyes are closed and her face is completely at peace, long dark hair flowing around her like water — a woman turned inward, at rest in herself. State of Being is a portrait of the moment a woman realizes her divine nature: nothing to prove, nothing to chase, just being. Drawn in charcoal and pastel, her stillness fills the page, and it quiets the room she hangs in.
