Fire and water in one breath: deep teal currents, ember reds and white foam dragged across the surface like surf, with flashes of gold breaking through — the moment the Pacific catches the sunset and refuses to let go. And step back: in the middle of the white foam a figure emerges — you have to look from a distance to see her standing there. Painted in thick, physical layers; it changes with the light all day.
